AUTHENTIC CUISINE

From famous Chinese hawker dishes to traditional Malay cuisine, you will certainly have your taste buds tingling as you indulge in a variety of local food, reflecting Singapore’s diverse cultures.

DAY 1

Upon arrival in Singapore Changi Airport, a local tour guide will warmly welcome and assist you with your luggage. Perhaps enjoy breakfast at Toast Box or Fun Toast located in Jewel Changi Airport before checking into the hotel. The tour will begin around Raffles Place where there will be opportunities to explore the Singapore River and view the Sir Stamford Raffles statue. Travel back in time at the National Gallery to delve into the history of Singapore. Next, make your way to Tekka Centre to check out the Tekka Market briefly before indulging in authentic Indian cuisine at Tekka Food Centre for lunch. After a hearty meal, embark on a temple hopping activity where there will be stopovers at places of worship such as Shree Lakshminarayan Temple and Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple. Thereupon, drop by the Indian Heritage Centre and perhaps try out facial threading or henna body art just around the corner. Why not end off your day with authentic hawker food at Newton Food Centre. It is only one train stop away! 

DAY 2

To kickstart the day, you can dine at Rumah Makan Minang to savour in a variety of traditional Malay dishes, like their famous Nasi Padang and Beef Rendang. Next, a sightseeing tour will be conducted at Masjid Sultan. Nearby, visit the Malay Heritage Centre to uncover the culture, heritage and history of the Singaporean Malays. For lunch, stop by Golden Mile Food Complex at Beach Road and perhaps enjoy Sup Tulang from the famous Haji Kadir stall. Take the public bus down to the NUS Baba House at Outram Park, where the Peranakan culture will be brought to light. To further immerse in the Peranakan culture, dinner will be held at House of Peranakan Petit, indulging in authentic Nyonya cuisine. Finally, at leisure, a stopover at Tiong Bahru Plaza is possible to fulfill any shopping desires.

DAY 3

A simple breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, visit Fort Canning to admire a variety of beautiful gardens, ranging from the Sang Nila Utama-inspired gardens to those that feature 14th century forbidden baths. For lunch, try out the famed Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice from its flagship stall at Maxwell Food Centre. Next, go sightseeing from The Pinnacle@Duxton to take a look at the glorious Singapore Skyline at your leisure. Subsequently, head down to Chinatown, where you can enlighten yourself with Chinese history and culture through Chinatown Heritage Centre tours or Free Walking Tours conducted by Monster Day Tours. To wrap up the day, dinner will be held at Lau Pa Sat, also known as Telok Ayer Market, where the blocking of roads can be witnessed as hawkers set up their stalls right before 7.00pm.

DAY 4

Enjoy a light breakfast at the comfort of the hotel. Then, head down to Gardens By the Bay to take in the diverse species of flora from around the world and be marvelled by the renowned Supertrees. For lunch, feast on local delights at Satay By the Bay while admiring the breathtaking view of the waterfront. Next, stop over at the Merlion Park to take an Instagram worthy photograph with the ever-so-iconic Merlion. Afterwards, explore and possibly shop at the Marina Bay Sands, which is well-known for its luxury boutiques. Prior to flying off, take a quick ride on the Changi Airport Skytrain to visit Jewel Changi Airport at leisure. Explore attractions such as Hedge/Mirror Maze and Changi Experience Studio, and witness the magnificent Rain Vortex.
